Fuel filters
Fuel filters block contamination particles, which occur in diesel and petrol and can be used also in LPG installations. Their role is to protect parts of internal combustion engines from excesive wear. Contamination parceles accumulated in engine cause faster wear of injector, valve pressure regulators and pumps, which are inside the engine. Each fuel system must have filter, which is suitable chosen by quality of fuel, engine’s requierments and conditions of exploitation. Modern engines requiere filter to stop above 90% of contamination particles of size 3 ÷ 5 μm. Selection and periodic replacement of fuel filters are crucial for proper work and performance of engines.
